To get the most out of the symposium, people should read this document ahead of time, including the blog posts listed there.  It provides some background for each session and a set of questions that we may discuss.  Speakers will not present papers but will engage in a lively discussion of issues described in this document.

You might also read this short article by Chris Honeyman and Andrea Schneider summarizing their efforts for more than a decade to develop new and better negotiation theory. The Tower of Babel symposium fits in as another step in their larger project.

One more reminder about the Missouri and Marquette (M&M) Writing Competition, with entries due by October 17 at 11:59 pm Central Time.
