This evening the USNews officially released their law school rankings and their law school specialty rankings. And the big news is that Ohio State jumped up from 4th last year to end Pepperdine’s 10 year (or so) stranglehold on the top spot. Is it just me or are the top 5 schools the same every year? Hmmm. And we see two new schools in the rankings – Maryland and Texas A&M. Congrats to all.
1. Ohio State
2. Pepperdine
3. Missouri
4. Harvard
5. Mitchell-Hamline
6. Yeshiva (Cardozo)
7. Marquette and Oregon (tie)
9. UNLV
10. Northwestern
11. Arizona State
12. Quinnipiac and UC-Hastings (tie)
14. Fordham
15. Creighton and Maryland (tie)
17. Suffolk
18. Texas A&M
19. Penn State (Dickinson)
Art: thanks for this good news. As a point of info, while the rankings occur in 2016, US News actually refers to these listings as their 2017 rankings.

This link only lists the first 11, unless you pay for a subscription. I second Art’s congrats to all, but especially our colleagues at OSU for their well deserved recognition.
