When do mediation and boxing go together?  Answer: in the strange case of scheduling a championship boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.  Yes, these two fighters have scheduled a mediation to help schedule a boxing match.  

Just to give a little bit of background, these two boxers are considered the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world and their fight is expected to break all kinds of pay-per-view records.  However, the negotiations surrounding their upcoming match broke down purportedly due to questions about pre-fight drug testing.  And it doesn’t hurt that the boxers’ respective managers have a history of business disagreements.  Those prior disagreements were previously resolved through mediation with retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, so now they’ve agreed to round two with him (pun intended).
