Request for Proposals – ABA DR Section Conference

The ABA Dispute Resolution Section has just posted its request for proposals for the annual Spring Conference.  This year’s conference takes place in Washington D.C. on April 18-21, 2012, and proposals are due on September 12, 2011.  This year’s conference has a new set presentation possibilities, poster presentations.  You may have seen poster presentations at other conferences (an example here), and we’re excited to make them part of the ABA DR Section Spring Conference.   Here’s a short blurb from the RFP.

The ABA Section of Dispute Resolution will hold its 2012 Spring Conference in Washington, DC.   The Conference is a vibrant forum appealing to a broad range of interests with two full days of concurrent panel presentations, a poster presentation session and reception and ample opportunities for information sharing and networking.  There are two additional programs on the day immediately prior to and following the main Conference: the Symposium on ADR in the Courts and the Legal Educators Colloquium, respectively.

This RFP seeks proposals for presentations during the main Conference, the poster presentation sessions, the Symposium and the Colloquium.  The Conference draws from varied and diverse groups including Bar Association members, national and international ADR practitioners and organizations, corporate leaders, federal and state governments, judges, neutrals, court administrators and law schools.

Proposals are to be submitted online from a link in the RFP.  Good luck to all who submit a proposal.
