2018 Mangano Dispute Resolution Advancement Award

FOI Elayne Greenberg  (St. John’s) has been gently reminding us of the Mangano Award given by St.John’s every other year to “honor scholars and practitioners whose empirical work furthers the advancement and understanding of the values and skills of dispute resolution.”  This is a major award, and it comes with a $5,000 prize !  Applications are due Friday December 7th, and the particulars are below.  Good luck !

Selection Process
In selecting the award recipient from the pool of nominees, the Mangano Award Committee considers:
   •   The significance of the research
   •   The quality of the research
   •   The innovation of the work
   •   The interdisciplinary nature of the research
   •   The extent it has begun to impact the field
   •   The reputation of the investigator(s) who conducted the research has(ve) and their the capacity to continue to be agent(s) of change

Submit Your Nomination(s)
To nominate research for the 2019 Mangano Award, please submit the following materials using our online submission form:
   •   Article abstract
   •   Link to the published article
   •   Description of how the research is influencing the values and practices of the field, including citations to the research and sharing how the research results will be promoted going forward (limit: two pages 12-point, double-spaced)
