McGeorge Wins ABA International Negotiation Competition

This dispatch comes from our good friend (OGF?) Michael Colatrella (McGeorge).

McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific students Doug Leach and Leah Parrish, representing the United States, won the American Bar Association’s (ABA) International Negotiation Competition held from June 26-30, 2018 in Wales, UK. The McGeorge negotiation team qualified to compete in the international competition by winning the ABA Negotiation 2018 Competition Finals, held February 2-3 in Chicago, IL. Claudia Wrazel, a Sacramento attorney and mediator, coached the team to victory. The International Negotiation Competition involved 28 teams from 24 countries, testing teams’ negotiation skills over a series of rounds where they sought to achieve the optimum outcome for their clients in both the short-term and the long-term, while “dealing with cultural and practical issues thrown up by scenarios . . . .” This is a great accomplishment for the students, their coach, McGeorge, and American law schools.

Big congrats to McGeorge !!
